Pleiospilos simulans (Split Rock, Lewer Plant) ex Buys Wiese

A species that is extremely rare in nature, can become vey large and form spectacular specimen plants when old (leaves can reach more than 10 cm in diameter!). They are adapted to very arid environments and can withstand direct sunlight, little water and cold conditions. Best grown hard. Produces large yellow flowers in winter. These are seed grown plants, originating from the late Buys Wiese. Plants offered are young plants with about 5 cm diameter.
