The iconic Window Plant also called Baby Toes or Baba Tone. This is the species occurring along the West Coast of SA along the sand dunes. They have a peculiar way of growing in the loose sands with only the tips showing and so allowing light to penetrate the leaves while protecting the leaf body underground. Fairly easy to grow if you know what they need, strong light but direct sunlight only in the morning, light but frequent watering throughout the year and protection from frost. Soils should be sandy and fast draining. Your plant will consist of a small clump of several leaves.
