A unique, stone-like plant that closely resembles the better known Lithops, but is not closely related to it. It can grow to have fairly large heads (about 6 cm diameter) and with up to 10 heads. Plants are white, with reddish lines. It is quite rare, bot in nature and in trade and is not often seen for sale. The species occurs naturally in the extremely arid Bushmanland. Not as easy to grow as Lithops, but easily kept if its main requirements are met, almost all day direct sun and light watering from September to April. Plants being offered are adult plants, with a diameter of about 2 to 4 cm.
