Dinteranthus inexpectatus

A unique, stone-like plant that has almost spherical bodies. It can grow to have fairly large heads (about 5 cm diameter) and remains mostly solitary. Plants are white, pink to grey depending on the amount of sublight. It is quite rare, both in nature and in trade and is not often seen for sale. The species occurs naturally in the extremely arid Bushmanland. Not as easy to grow as Lithops, but easily kept if its main requirements are met, almost all day direct sun and light watering from September to April. Plants being offered are adult plants,  with a diameter of about 2 to 4 cm.
